Potlucks

Building relationships with other believers is one way we are encouraged to live out the faith we proclaim. We have Potlucks so we can get together with other believers, or non-believers - to share our lives and our faith.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Potlucks at Church

What a great way to enjoy each other, share our food and good stories with our brothers & sisters.

Outdoor Potluck

At least once a year we have a potluck just after the outdoor worship service and baptism at Hellsgate State Park.  The church supplies the fried chicken & the members bring the salads and desserts!

 Themed Potlucks

Sometimes we have different types of food -maybe a Mexican theme...  There are lots of super yummy Mexican dishes, and lots of condiments that are easy to just pick up on your way to church!

It is fun to have different themes for Potlucks. We might try Greek or Asian, or maybe just have appetizers

Breakfast is always good!

We may have just breakfast dishes for certain times of the year.  It's a fun way to celebrate Passover or Easter with a good before church Breakfast Potluck

Christmas Dinner

It is such a treat to celebrate Christ's birth with a feast - Potluck...  But this dinner is usually in the evening.  Tables are decorated by families in the church & it is a perfect time to invite friends and relatives.

We also usually have a gift exchange that is lots of fun!

Potluck Info

Let us know if you have ideas or would like to sign up for one of the dishes for our next Potluck.  Check the calendar to see when it is!
