Join us as we make cards to send to those we care about who might need encouragement and a little bit of Granite Lake love.
We meet about every other month. Check the calendar to see when the next Cards & Care meeting is.
Care Groups
1 John 4:21 says, “He (Jesus) has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.”
It is our responsibility as followers of Christ to be the example of love, mercy and unity in our homes and communities.

Each of these groups help us as a church family to get to know one another & care more about each other. Our Care Groups help us to love, serve and reach out to others in our church & our community. Still others reach out to those in need beyond our community.
Our hope is that as we care, we follow Jesus' command to: "love one another. As I (Jesus) have loved you."
J.A.R.'s
J.A.R.'s is Jesus Arms Reaching.
We fill these Jars to reach out to our 1st time attenders. Just a way to say thank you for coming to Granite Lake &

Meal Ministry
Our Meal Ministry is for those who need the encouragement of a meal - whether they are laid up, under the weather, welcoming a new life into their home, lost someone dear to them, or just plain tired of cooking... We would love you to Join our Meal Ministry team!
Coffee, Chat & Pray
Meet with us every Tuesday at 9:30 am as we have Coffee, Chat and Pray.
We usually meet at Rosauers, but have been known to change it up. (We sometimes meet at McDonalds or Hot Shots!) - so check the Granite Lake Calendar & join us!
Game Days
This is just another way we like to get together and care for each other. We play cards, cribbage, and board games. We usually meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 12:30 pm. at Deb's - but sometimes the date, time and place are changed - so check the calendar, or sign up below and we'll let you know!
Birthday Blessings
Celebrating our birthday's is another way we care about each other.
You are welcome to join us for birthday celebrations at either a home or restaurant - (we let the monthly birthday people choose). Check the calendar for more information or fill out the form below.
New Creations
Do you like to create but need a little instruction? We meet a few times a year to paint together. It is a creative way to encourage and care for one another. Also, sometimes we give away our new creations! Let us know below if you are interested in attending one of these fun rendezvous.
Be Creative
Caring comes in many ways, and so do our Be Creative gatherings. Sometimes we make paper crafts, cards, or wood projects... We use paint, glue, pens, goo gas, plaster, glitter, and what ever else we need to make something wonderful. Check the calendar to see when we are meeting or sign up below.
Kids Ministry
We always need helpers, teachers and coordinators for Kids Ministries during the year: Kids Special Performances, Kids Scripture Memorization, Kids Music and Drama, and Vacation Bible School in the summer. Sign up below if you have a heart for Kids Ministries.
(This is a ministry for both men and women & we do background checks).
Prayer & Fasting
Prayer and Fasting are encouraged as often as we can. We have sign up sheets for daily prayer coverage for a week. Our goal is to uplift others, our community and the world to our Sovereign God, who knows all and has everything under control. There are no surprises to Him.

Bowling for Blessings
Once a year our church body bowls together, and blesses a family in need from the Valley. Each bowling team signs up to provide a Christmas dinner and gifts to a family that we receive as we partner up with Family Promise, Community on Call, Salvation Army, various Valley Schools, the YWCA or others. We Bowl for Blessings just after Thanksgiving most years.
(This is an outreach for both men and women).
YWCA Bowls
Painting Bowls for the YWCA auction is a fun way to bless the community as well as fellowship with others. If you would like to bless the YWCA by helping to paint bowls, or have other way to bless others, sign up below.
Cribbage Tournament
This is a fun outreach we have once a year during March madness. Play at your own level! We have beginners - & will teach you & help you as you play (not very competitive!) Intermediate players who might help each other; and Advanced players that are cut throat-
(so you better be prepared!) - Let us know if you want to sign up for the tournament, & invite your friends! (This is a fun outreach for both men & women!).
